Job Details

The Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse provides nursing care to the patient during pre and post-procedure phases.

The RN assists in performing interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, angioplasties, and stents.

Other procedures include inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs).

The nurse initiates or maintains medication drips to manage the patient hemo-dynamically and conducts point-of-care lab testing as ordered.

Job Requirements

RN (MO or Compact)

ACLS

2 years experience in specialty

Previous travel experience preferred

Schedule Information

Shift : DAYS - 7am - 7 : 30pm

3x12s, 36 hours / week

On-call shifts will be one night through the week and every third weekend

Weekends and holidays as needed

Additional Details

CoxHealth is currently requiring the flu vaccine, please ensure your traveler is willing to obtain if offered prior to submitting.

MUST live at least 100 miles away from the facility to which they are applying.

If previously employed by CoxHealth, must have been gone for at least 2 years.
