Field Technician

This is an excellent opportunity to learn skills in the installation and repair of computer network cable systems, telephone systems, camera systems, access control, paging systems, school intercom systems and other communication systems and electronic devices.

Applicant should have a general mechanical aptitude, be proficient in the use of hand/power tools and possess a sincere desire to work/learn. Work locations include a wide array of service environments including medical, business and government offices, retail stores, medical facilities, schools, manufacturing plants and correctional facilities. Primary duties will be to assist senior technician while learning and developing skills necessary to work without direct supervision.

Applicant must be able to work from ladders, lifts, and elevated platforms and lift at least 50 lbs. without assistance.

Must have a current driver’s license, have a clean driving record, no criminal convictions and be drug free. Criminal background check, driving record check and drug screening required prior to employment.

Persons with telephone systems experience and/or computer cable installation experience, alarm, security, video, audio, and wireless communication systems experience, or experience/training in related fields will be given special consideration as well as persons with technical school/college training in electronics without work experience.

Starting pay is negotiable in the range of $12.50 – $16.50 per hour depending upon experience. Hours Monday through Friday. 8 am to 5 pm.
