Job Summary

Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of physician & supervisor. Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments & maintaining medical records. Clinical duties may include taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

Education

Required: Graduate of accredited practical nursing program OR graduated from a formal MA training program that included pharmacology class, anatomy/physiology, the basics of medication administration, and completion of a clinical externship

Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Required: License Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri OR Certification/Registration from a CoxHealth approved certification program: CMA/AAMA, RMA/AMT, CCMA/NHA, NRCMA/NAHP, NCMA/NCCT, RMA/AAMP.

Required: Obtain BLS within first 90 days of hire
