Graduate Nurse Residency Program
CoxHealth's graduate nurse residency program is designed to support new nurses in their transition to professional practice. With over 3,000 nurses serving six hospitals, our program provides a comprehensive orientation and clinical classes to ensure a successful start.
The program is accredited with distinction from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and consists of nine courses focused on essential skills and topics such as communication, self-care, and stress management.
Program Progression takes part in two phases : Phase I, a unit-specific orientation with classroom theory, practicum, clinical time, simulation, and hands-on skills learning; and Phase II, additional skills and specific transition to professional practice topics.
