The Internal Agency Ultrasound Technologist responds to department critical coverage needs throughout the system. Competency requires versatility to cover any need throughout system Radiology Ultrasound departments. Performs Ultrasound procedures consistent with the established standard of medical care in radiology, maintaining high quality imaging and patient welfare as a top priority. Supports didactic training of radiology students through demonstration and constructive guidance.

Education

Required: Graduate of ARRT accredited School of Diagnostic Medical SonographyPreferred: Associates Degree in Radiology or a related field

Experience

Preferred: 2 years experience after graduation as a Registered Technologist in Ultrasound

Knowledge of current ultrasound technical information.
