Job Summary
This role involves providing evaluation, direction, and application of licensed nursing services to carry out the plan of care and treatment primarily in the homes of clients under the direction / supervision of a Registered Professional Nurse, within the realm of accepted standards of practice for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Requirements
Education
A graduate of an approved License Practical Nursing program is required.
Experience
Minimum six (6) months' work as a practical / vocational nurse within the last three (3) years in a hospital, nursing home, or home care setting is required.
Skills
This role requires the ability to demonstrate good nursing judgment with minimal supervision, as well as effectively and courteously deal with clients, families, coworkers, and / or physicians, while maintaining and exhibiting an empathetic attitude toward the sick and elderly.
Licensure / Certification / Registration
A valid MO LPN License is required.
