Nurse Assistant or Apprenticeship
This role involves working in a classroom and clinical learning environment to obtain training as unlicensed assistive personnel. You will provide basic patient care under the direction and supervision of clinical educators and nursing staff.
In the clinical setting, you may perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and other tasks within your scope of practice. You will also obtain information on patient condition and report any changes to the nursing staff or clinical educator.
A competency assessment will be administered at the end of the training to validate your learning.
