Job Summary
-
The Patient Access Float will help throughout CMG clinics as needed and instructed by their supervisor. The Patient Access Float has the ability to cover all aspect of the department. Duties may include checking patients in timely for their appointments. Registers all new and established patient, enters and verifies patient demographics, and verifies insurance code, policy, group, etc. May collect necessary copay, collecting of money due, posting of money collected, closing out and balancing at the end of each day. The Patient Access Float performs clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing, answering telephones, computer data entry, charge entry and other duties as assigned.
