Job Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for multi-level building systems, design infrastructure, construction techniques, and the equipment requirements for proper design and construction. Coordinates with contractors to ensure project completion is on time and within budget. Facilitates project construction planning meetings.

Education

Required: Associates Degree in drafting and construction science and/or architectural design or a related field; or High School Diploma or Equivalent and at least 10 years’ experience working in an architectural or construction related field.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of working with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD drafting software.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Basic knowledge of construction document editing software such as AdobePro and/or Bluebeam Revu.

Advanced knowledge of e-mail applications such as Outlook.

Proficient with a network based computer system and proper document filing and archiving.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

Required: STI Fire Stop Certified must be obtained within 1 year of hire (provided by Cox yearly if not already certified).

Preferred: Certified Healthcare Constructor through ASHE (could be required at some point post hire anyway but not necessarily a disqualifier if it is not already obtained) OR a Licensed Architect with emphasis in multi-level healthcare facilities.
