  • Overview of Unit / Department

    The CMG Provider Compensation - CMG Support Services, is responsible for the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of provider compensation programs across CoxHealth Medical Group. This team ensures that all compensation structures are competitive, equitable, and compliant with the CoxHealth Medical Group Compensation Policy and regulatory requirements.

    By working closely with leadership, HR, operations, legal, and fair market value teams, CMG Provider Compensation develops sustainable and transparent compensation models that align with organizational goals. Through data-driven analysis and industry benchmarking, the team supports the recruitment and retention of top provider talent while maintaining financial and operational integrity.

    Job Summary

    The Provider Compensation Development Director leads the development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of compensation programs for healthcare providers across the health system in alignment with the CoxHealth Medical Group Compensation Policy. The position works closely with leadership, HR, operational, legal and fair market value teams to ensure compensation packages are competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals, all while complying with relevant regulations.

    Job Requirements

    Education

  • Required : Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or certification in compensation (e.g., CCP) is preferred.
  • Experience

  • Required :  Minimum of 7 years of experience in compensation or human resources, with at least 3 years in a leadership role focused on healthcare provider compensation.
  • Skills

  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize competing demands.
  • Proficient in compensation management systems, HR software, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
