Job Summary
Responsible for cleaning, assembling, packaging and sterilizing all instruments and equipment from all areas of the health care facility as well as the operation and care of same equipment and instruments. Has a detailed working knowledge of department functions and is responsible for completing work assignments in the sterile process department.
Training Technician Job Requirements:

- Experience
- No prior experience required
- Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to organize instrument sets
- Able to pass a written proficiency review.
- Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration

Technician I Job Requirements:
- Education
- Required: Graduate from School of Surgical Technology OR High School diploma or equivalent AND Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Experience
- No prior experience required
- Skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Working knowledge of computers
- Ability to organize instrument sets
- Able to pass a written proficiency review.
- Organized and self-motivated with an attention to detail.
- Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Preferred: CRCST (Required if no Surgical Technology Degree)
