Dental Assistant (Oral Surgery)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assisting the Oral Surgeon during a variety of surgical procedures.
• Providing patients with post-operative instructions for oral care following surgery or other oral treatment procedures, such as the placement of dental implants or extraction of wisdom teeth.
• Record doctor notes and vital sign information during a surgical procedure or office consultation.
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
• Other duties as deemed necessary.

• 1 years of Oral Surgery or Dental experience is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to cross train and perform front office functions.
• Must be detail oriented, punctual, and patient-care focused.
• Motivated to grow and learn new things.
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
