ELECTRICIAN
OVERVIEW :
An electrician will be critical in maintaining productivity within the plant as it relates to electrical systems. The main focus will be on installing and maintaining various equipment, including fillers, packaging machines, and auxiliary equipment. The safety and efficiency of electrical systems that comply with regulations will also be necessary.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Maintains and updates records of material and parts.
- Confers with Plant Supervisor, General Plant Manager, and Warehouse Manager on needed repairs, changes and new equipment.
- Performs or directs the maintenance and repairs of all electrical wiring and variable drives, installation of motors, switches, switch panels, fuse boxes, lighting, PLC, testing and power circuits.
- Determines proper size and specifications of wire, conduit, switches, and panel's, fuses, etc.
- Inspects motors, switches, junction boxes, switch panels, circuit breakers, transformers, fuse panels, lighting, heating and power circuits. Performs preventative and running repairs and corrections.
- Performs or directs the installation, connection, adjustment and calibration of electrical gauges and recording instruments.
- Performs repairs on ignition and electrical systems of automotive equipment.
- Operates lathe, drill press, milling machine, etc when necessary.
- Maintains and repairs warehouse equipment.
- Record equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain records of inventories and cost sheets.
- Recommends to Label and Packaging and Bean Plant Manager / Supervisors measures to improve, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of production lines.
- Follows company policies on safety, quality, sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Other reasonable duties as assigned.
