What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drop/Count Attendant (Part-Time) position at Coyote Valley Casino?
JOB SUMMARY:
The drop/count attendant shall be responsible for the removal of video stackers and table game drop boxes on a daily basis. Counts and balances drop daily. All functions will be performed within the guidelines of the Coyote Valley Casino policies and procedures, Internal Control Standards and objectives, and in accordance with the Mission, Vision and Value Statement of the Coyote Valley Casino.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform the daily drop.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the drop process.
- Pulling stackers from machines.
- Placing empty stackers in machines.
- Closing machines with one security checking machines.
- Pulling drop cart along with one security.
- Sort, strap, counts and verifies currency from drop.
- Prepares table games count sheet and accountability sheet daily.
- Protect and preserve the confidentiality and assets of the casino.
- Must abide by dress code maintaining the professional appearance of the casino at all times.
- Must be able to work well with Co-workers/Supervisors/Managers.
- Must consistently demonstrate a high level of customer service to customers and employees, and represent the casino in a friendly and professional manner.
- May be asked to perform various duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
- Possess authority to sign out and in, drop keys and count room keys.
- Must maintain a good attendance record.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

1. Must have knowledge of drop process.
2. Must have good math skills and the ability to solve problems.
3. Must be able to count large sums of currency.
4. Possess a high level of integrity and honesty

6. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
Education/Experience:
1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
2. Prior Cash handing experience preferred (casino or bank).
Language Skills:
1. Ability to communicate effectively both written and orally
Reasoning Ability:
1. Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with the customers and employees.
2. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an Employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The Employee is also regularly required to stand, sit, walk and use hands fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls. The employee is also required to move through all areas of the casino.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described her are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of the job. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor, the noise levels increase to loud. Must be able to work in an intense environment where the work environment is not smoke free.

1 Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid gaming license
