Position Overview

The Head of IT Systems & Integrations is responsible for managing the company's tech stack and ensuring technology tools, systems and integrations operate smoothly. This role is required to be both strategic and hands-on at the same time since the Head of IT Systems & Integrations is responsible for designing the IT architecture to support the business growth, as well as managing the day-to-day optimizations of how such systems work to reduce tech debt and complexities while evolving tech capabilities and automation. With the support of a Managed Services Provider, this role will also oversee IT Help Desk and Support activities.

Tech Stack

Coyuchi employs several key systems to operate its business and it is imperative that the Head of IT Systems & Integrations is proficient in each :

Shopify : E-commerce and retail point-of-sale platform
NetSuite : Enterprise Resource Planning system
SPS Commerce : Connection to wholesale retailers
Middleware systems including Celigo and SuperSync
Familiarity with e-commerce and marketing technology including Gladly, Klaviyo, Narvar, and 3PL WMS integrations

Primary Responsibilities

Review and refine the tech stack architecture to best support business growth and operations while optimizing tech / IT costs. Define 3-year roadmap in alignment with company LRP goals.

Project manage systems integration projects, coordinating and communicating across internal and external stakeholder groups, including tech agencies.

Diagnose and resolve systems issues, including oversight of IT / specialized agencies and 3rd party service providers.

Manage Company's IT security and risks and implement appropriate risk prevention measures.

Seek opportunities to streamline and refine the company's tech stack and integrations.

Partner with the E-commerce team to deploy successful updates to E-commerce functionality.

Support Finance & Accounting to manage and evolve NetSuite data flows, budgeting, reporting, mapping and used functionality.

Provide direction to the IT Help Desk team (including a third-party Managed Services Provider) to ensure Coyuchi employees are well supported in working efficiently.

Create and update process & systems documentation so Coyuchi Management and employees have a clear understanding of how systems and integrations work.

Cross-functional partnership to serve business intelligence and data that enables intelligent and quick decision-making.

Stay current with retail and e-commerce technology solutions as relevant to the Coyuchi business.

Additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

10 years of experience working with systems integrations in e-commerce and / or retail.

5 years of IT project management experience.

2 years leading teams and managing people.

Strong understanding of NetSuite, Shopify, and Celigo.

Experience managing and working with third-party systems integrators, particularly wholesale and WMS integrations.

Ability to perform light scripting in NetSuite is a plus.

Experience managing security and corporate office suites.

Very strong written and verbal communication skills.

Solutions-oriented mindset that seeks to understand and improve root causes of challenges.

Strong professional judgment and ability to escalate issues clearly and succinctly in order to drive decisions and outcomes.

Highly detail-oriented.

Strong ability to prioritize.

Able to adapt and be flexible in the face of shifting priorities.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Workspace.
