Job Description
The firm is seeking a full-time hybrid Billing Assistant. The Billing Assistant works alongside the Billing Coordinators to assure our firm databases are accurate for efficient client billing. This position reports directly to the Billing Assurance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Processing requests to update matter and client information
- Processing requests to close files
- Setting up split file information in finance system
- Daily monitoring of notification for newly open matters
- Daily auditing of ebill submissions, matter maintenance and other billing related processes
- Processing time transfer requests
- Completing new vendor form requests and setting up new ebill websites
- Assist billers with various billing functions such as simple billing, narrative edits and recapping invoices
- Assist billing department with ad hoc requests and projects
