Job Description
As an IT Support Specialist, you will be the frontline of technical assistance, providing comprehensive support to ensure the smooth operation of our firm’s technology infrastructure. Your role is pivotal in maintaining high levels of user satisfaction and productivity through prompt and effective resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities
Technical Support: Offer first and second-level technical assistance via telephone and desk-side to all network users.
Issue Tracking: Maintain logs in the help desk system to identify and analyze trends for continuous improvement.
Problem Escalation: Promptly escalate critical issues to specialized IS Tech groups to mitigate impact on user productivity.
Meeting & Conference Support: Facilitate teleconferences and presentations, ensuring technical readiness in offices and conference rooms.
On-Call Support: Provide necessary after-hours support, including weekends, to maintain uninterrupted service.
Installation Assistance: Assist with the setup of desktop PCs and telephones as needed.
Qualifications
Interpersonal Excellence: Demonstrate effective relationship-building and customer service skills.
Communication Proficiency: Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Technical Acumen: Possess advanced knowledge of PC/desktop hardware, Windows 10/11, and Office 2016/365.
Self-Management: Show initiative and the capacity to prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
Collaborative Experience: Have a background in working within team-oriented settings.
Troubleshooting Expertise: Display hands-on experience in PC hardware troubleshooting.
