Babysitter/Nanny

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Babysitter/Nanny to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing and safe environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering a positive and engaging atmosphere while ensuring the well-being of the children in your care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote their development and learning.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks, catering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Assist with daily routines, including bathing, dressing, and diaper changes for infants and toddlers.
• Create a safe and stimulating environment by maintaining cleanliness and organization in play areas.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement to children, helping them navigate their feelings and social interactions.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
• Implement educational activities that align with developmental milestones for preschool-aged children.
• Be attentive to the needs of children, ensuring they receive appropriate care and support.
• Provide transportation to and from school and other activities.

Skills

• Proven experience in childcare or caregiving roles, particularly with infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school age children.
• Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals for children.
• Ability to work effectively with children.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing demeanor when dealing with children's emotions and behaviors.
• Flexibility in adapting activities based on children's interests and energy levels.
• Strong organizational skills to manage daily schedules effectively.
• Familiarity with Atlanta, its traffic and the children activities in the area.

Job Type: Part-time
