What are the responsibilities and job description for the Videographer position at Cozy Earth?

In this role as a Videographer, you will work alongside Cozy Earth's growing video and creative team to plan, shoot and edit awesome projects. You have the opportunity to work with the video team from pre-production to post-production, which includes helping plan projects, filming on-set, and owning various editing projects. Working alongside marketing leaders, this role will visually tell the story of Cozy Earth through the creation of digital and television ads.
The ideal candidate will be a collaborative player in a cross-functional team with a passion and focus on creative storytelling through video.
What you'll do:
- Collaborate with internal and external resources to create high-quality videos that align with the company vision and brand.
- Transport, set up, and operate production equipment, including audio video and lighting equipment, for field and in-house productions.
- As a member of the Creative Team, brainstorm creative storytelling/storyboards and organize shoots.
- Assist with script and other asset development
- Operate and maintain high-end camera equipment, microphones, audio feeds, lighting, and work with raw footage through the final edit.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of professional experience
- Experience working with professional editing software - Example: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve (Davinci Resolve preferred)
- Experience operating lighting for video shoots
- Experience working with Sony cameras is a plus!
- Ability to source and locate any additional needed equipment for shoots
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally - up to 10%
