Cozy Harbor Seafood Inc., based in Portland, Maine, specializes in buying, processing, and distributing premium-quality seafood products throughout the US, Canada, Asia, and Europe. Freshness and quality are top priorities for us, and we work directly with Maine fishermen, seafood suppliers from the Pacific Northwest and East coast suppliers to bring the best catches.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Production Administrative Assistant located in Portland, ME. The Production Administrative Assistant will be responsible for managing purchase orders, expense reports, providing administrative assistance, communicating effectively, and delivering exceptional customer service on a daily basis.

This position works in an office environment as well as spending some time in the manufacturing plant following and adhering to food safety GMP'S.

Occasional exposure to shellfish processing environment, which includes lobster and fish as well as exposure to ambient chlorine and raw material odors.

Schedule : Monday - Friday 6 : 30AM - 3 : 30PM, and occasional weekends are required to achieve business requirements.

• Purchase Orders / Supply Ordering
• Administrative Assistance skills
• Data Entry / Filing
• Payroll / On-boarding for new front line hires
• Assistance with hiring of front line employees
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Prior experience in a similar role is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Occasional event planning for company sponsored functions
• Bilingual in Spanish a must
