Operations Supervisor

As part of the crude oil transportation operations team, this position is responsible for giving on-going analysis to continuously improve operations and provide direct supervision to professional drivers in support of the company’s crude oil hauling operations.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Provides remote and direct management to drivers and mechanics.
• Manage training, coaching, performance evaluation, and effective resolution of safety issues and claims
• Ensure maximum productivity and route management systems and establish productivity goals where needed; ensure adherence to operating standards and manage labor hours and hauling expenses.
• Oversee effective safety and accident prevention programs to ensure all reasonable actions are taken to prevent accidents and injuries; ensure a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
• Lead operations to ensure compliance with all standards are met including environmental, operating, regulatory, and safety.
• Develop a best-in-class team and workplace culture and effectively manage performance and talent development.
• Maintain company lacts and stations.
• Conduct and review CP Station Over/Short
• Perform other assigned tasks

Preferred Candidate Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-2 years of Crude Oil experience is preferred
• 1-2 years of Supervisory or management experience
• Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and able to direct a large staff.
• Process and results oriented in setting and pursuing goals, demonstrating a strong commitment to organizational success.
• Demonstrated problem-solving, analytical, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills.
