What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receiving/Forklift Operator position at CP Flexible Packaging?
This is a 2nd shift position on a rotating shift with the hours of 7pm-7am.

Job Summary:
Keeps all production machines (presses, laminators and extruder) supplied with film to run jobs that are on their schedules.
Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Keep production machines supplied with film
- Remove finished product to next staging area
- Return raw film to racks in warehouse
- Keep empty skids supplied at machines for jobs being produced
- Able to drive various tow motors
- Able to extract information from computer
- Print roll labels and attach to raw film (when needed)
- Complete Forklift/Pallet jack inspection sheet weekly
- Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group
- Schedule in-bound carrier delivery appointments with use of Outlook calendar
- Entry of raw material film receipts & label printing for inbounds via ASN notification & ‘direct’ delivery to the warehouse
- Entry of stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications: (education, experience, specific skills, machinery/tools, etc.)
- Certified/experience driving stand-up forklift a strong plus
- Able to earn and maintain forklift operation certification
- Able to obtain high lift certification and safely operate high-reach lift
- Able to safely operate various tow motors (sit down, high-reach, etc.)
- Basic computer knowledge and data entry
- Basic reading and math skills
- Ability to read ruler and tape measure
- Usage of common tools (hammer, screwdriver, etc.)
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 70 lbs. (intermittently)
