Job Title : Event Sales Manager

We are seeking a passionate and entrepreneurial Event Sales Manager to launch an events business from the ground up at a mixed-use property in downtown Atlanta.

This position is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and driving event sales. The ideal candidate will have a passion for events, excellent communication skills, and the ability to create tailored solutions to meet clients' needs while exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities :

  • Meet with clients to understand their event goals and needs, provide tailored solutions, and present venue packages. Lead site tours for potential clients, showcasing the venue's offerings and unique features.
  • Prepare and present detailed proposals, negotiate pricing and event terms, and close sales.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and new event concepts to ensure our venue remains competitive and appealing to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the property management team and external event planners to ensure client needs are met and that events are executed seamlessly.
  • Coordinate design, production and distribution of event space marketing materials
  • Acquire new accounts and secure repeat business by using solutions-driven planning and delivering distinguished experiences.
  • Maintain pipeline reports and sales forecasts to analyze market trends, coordinating efforts to increase revenue.

Experience :

  • 5 or more years of experience in event sales for a large venue with multiple event spaces
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in social media, Mailchimp, Canva, and PowerPoint
  • Basic social media experience
