Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role combines warehouse responsibilities with driving duties, ensuring efficient transportation and delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience in operating various commercial vehicles, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Operate a box truck or company delivery van. Class C.
• Load your own truck and unload freight safely and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs for hours driven and vehicle maintenance.
• Assist in warehouse operations such as palletizing orders, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding transportation and safety.

Experience

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required; additional endorsements for tanker or heavy haul are a plus.
• Experience as a yard jockey or in freight handling is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations related to driving and warehouse operations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
