Summary

Summary: We are seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Audit Implementation Consulting to join our Audit Professional Services team. This role will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of a cloud-based audit technology suite for CPA firms. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of audit processes and technologies, along with the ability to manage change and ensure smooth adoption. You will drive the entire lifecycle of implementation, including discovery, planning, training, data migration, go-live, and post-implementation support.

 

This is a Senior Manager level position that requires a CPA license or at least 5 years of experience in implementing audit technologies for CPA firms.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following: 

 

  • Lead Implementation Engagements: Manage the end-to-end process of implementing the audit suite at client CPA firms, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Client Discovery & Planning: Work with client stakeholders to identify business needs, document requirements, and develop tailored implementation plans.
  • Change Management: Design and execute change management strategies to facilitate a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
  • Project Timeline Management: Define and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation.
  • Training & Enablement: Facilitate training sessions for end-users, ensuring teams are well-equipped to utilize new tools and processes.
  • Data Migration & Testing: Oversee data migration activities and validate data integrity throughout the process. Coordinate system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
  • Authoring & Configuration: Technical implementation activities of system configuration and firm-specific content authoring as required
  • Go-Live Support: Provide hands-on support during the go-live phase, ensuring seamless transitions and addressing any last-minute issues.
  • Post-Implementation Support: Serve as the key point of contact for ongoing support, including issue resolution and ensuring sustainability of the implementation.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and client success teams to ensure alignment and client satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to improve the audit technology suite based on client experiences and evolving industry standards.

    Qualifications:

     

    Education & Experience:

    • CPA license (preferred) or equivalent accounting certification.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience implementing audit or accounting technologies within CPA firms.
    • Strong understanding of auditing processes, tools, and standards.

     

    Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in cloud-based audit technologies.
    • Expertise in enterprise system implementation including system configuration, UI/UX
    • Proficiency with data migration, data integrity, and systems integration.
    • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.

     

    Leadership & Soft Skills:

    • Proven ability to lead and deliver complex implementation projects in a professional services environment.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
    • Strong project management, time management, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

     

    Problem-Solving & Adaptability:

    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
    • Flexibility to adapt to the evolving needs of clients and the audit technology landscape.

     

     

    Education/Experience:

    Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university or four to six years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

     

    Certificates and Licenses:

    • CPA preferred or prior A&A and/or Implementation Consulting experience

     

    Knowledge, Skills, and Other Abilities:

    • Strong presentation and facilitation skills are required
    • Experience in consulting or training is preferred
    • Solid writing skills including presentation development and technical writing
    • Self-starter with strong problem solving skills
    • Ability to travel under normal circumstances
