CPA firm seeking a tax professional who is very strong in all aspects of High Net Worth personal income tax preparation

This position is Hybrid

Responsibilities :

  • Assume full responsibility for directing engagements and special assignments and supervise a number of engagements simultaneously.
  • Implement tax strategies that align with clients' business objectives
  • Perform all tasks related to client service and see that assignments are accomplished by the engagement team within the budgeted time.
  • Responsible for the professional and technical development of the staff through on-the-job-interaction and leading in-house training.
  • Develop a list of potential referral sources to bring new business to the firm
  • Develop expertise in one or more specific industry area

Qualifications

  • Five years of very strong experience in personal income tax matters including fiduciary and foundation
  • Experience with complex returns requiring 20-40 K-1 schedules.
  • Ability to supervise in-house and off-site bookkeepers
  • Ability to make adjusting general ledger journals
  • Financial planning experience is a plus - eg. cash flow, life insurance, mortgage and investment analysis.
