CPA firm seeks strong candidates for its Trusts & Estates Group. The ideal candidate will have broad experience providing sophisticated tax planning, consulting and compliance services to high‐net worth individuals and family groups.
This position assumes full responsibility for managing client assignments encompassing trusts, estates, gifts, and private foundations.
Responsibilities:
- Review complex federal and state tax returns and projections for high‐net‐worth individuals,
- trusts, estates, and private foundations.
- Provide tax consultative services to internal and external clients.
- Research tax matters primarily in the federal estate, wills and trust taxation, and gift tax area.
- Review tax work of less experienced staff.
- Train, mentor and provide work direction to staff.
Qualifications:
- CPA license
- 7 years of tax compliance and consulting experience pertaining to high‐net‐worth individuals, trusts and estates.
- Exceptional client service and outstanding communication skills
- Experience delivering tax compliance for closely‐held businesses including corporations and
- partnerships.
- Cross‐border estate tax planning and foreign reporting compliance
Salary : $125,000 - $160,000
