Loves putting the puzzles together accurately, efficiently, understaning and following GAAP & Tax Basis where applicable. Need 5 yrs minimum experience preparing complex 1040s (w/Sch Cs, Es, Fs) and (non-complex) 1065/1120S/C Corporate returns under $10MM. User experience with Drake Software highly preferred. Able to retrieve & read F/S from QBO or other accounting software. Ability to review Financial Statements and spot issues for review and correction. Knowledge of and experience with depreciation, amortization, journal entries, account reconciliations, shareholder loans, distributions, general ledger details and inter-workings of Balance sheet and profit/loss statements for tax preparations. Current tax laws for individuals and corporations and updated training provided. Multiple clients and industries served. Must be able to work independently, be a self starter, assist in setting and meeting production goals, as well as other team members. CPA, CPA Candidate, EA or experience Required. Practice management system experience a plus. Time management and Accountability assistance. Special projects. Great communication skills, written & verbal. Must be willing to follow SOP while welcoming ideas for improvements. Computer literate, security aware, IRS tax resolution experience an added plus, but not required.
