CPC and Associates seeks an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join their team.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts and structures. The welder must possess expertise in various welding techniques and have a strong commitment to safety, quality, and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive knowledge of welding with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW thermal processes in the manufacturing of various types of pressure vessels and heat exchangers
- Read prints for both required specifications as well as dimensions
- Weld within the parameters of a WPS/PQR
- Proficient in arc gouging process
Requirements:
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components.
- Must be highly safety-oriented individual
- Self-motivated and highly productive employee who requires minimal supervision and who can efficiently execute a plan to make jobs happen on time within the hours given
- Pass a weld qualification for each process
- Pass Sub ARC Test
- Pass 6G Test
- Recognize and rectify sub-standard welds to ensure product quality
- Be punctual and dependent with a willingness to work hours outside of a standard schedule when required to achieve a task or complete a project
