CPC and Associates is looking for a Pressure Vessel Technician to join their team.
Job Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing welding operations to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts and structures.
Main Duties:
- Extensive knowledge of welding with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW & SAW thermal processes
- Responsible for reading prints and understanding required specifications and dimensions
- Must adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards
- Proficient in arc gouging process
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in welding pressure vessels or heat exchanger components.
- Must be highly safety-conscious and committed to quality
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass a weld qualification for each process
- Pass Sub ARC Test
- Pass 6G Test
