Job Summary :
The Senior Process Engineer provides technical support for complex refinery operations to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. Reporting to the Lead Process Engineer, they are responsible for project development, execution, and addressing complex technical challenges across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities :
Monitor and troubleshoot refinery process units, provide regular reporting, and support incident investigations as Lead Investigator when required.
Solve complex problems using extensive knowledge and collaboration with cross-functional teams, including external vendors and specialists.
Evaluate cost-saving, profit improvement, and operational enhancement opportunities. Maintain yield profile analysis and assist with LP Model updates.
Lead and manage small-scale projects, ensuring they meet budget and timeline constraints.
Ensure 100% compliance with HSE policies and act as a safety role model. Address unsafe conditions promptly.
Support junior engineers, particularly in process safety evaluations. Fill in for the Lead Unit Process Engineer as needed.
Contribute to the creation of engineering standards and long-term departmental planning.
Qualifications :
Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in distillation or in a refinery environment.
