What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR Generalist position at CPC Commodities?
CPC is seeking an HR Generalist to join our People Operations Team. This is a newly created position that will support employee success across multiple divisions of CPC. This is a full-time position that will report to our home office in Fountain Run, Kentucky. This position will support the employee experience by performing HR-related duties across multiple functional areas including hiring and onboarding, training, performance management, and policy implementation.

What you will be doing:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding including developing job descriptions and posting opportunities, conducting interviews, making hiring decisions, and facilitating onboarding.
- Provide support to the payroll administration process and maintain accurate employee and payroll records.
- Contribute to performance management through organizing routine evaluations.
- Support employee training and development programs, including safety training requirements.
- Assist with employee benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and stay informed of changes in labor laws. Routinely review company policies and procedures.
- Provide routine data analysis and reporting of HR data. Track key HR metrics and provide insights to management.
This path is for you if you have:
- A minimum of two years of relevant HR generalist experience. HR certification or bachelor’s degree in human resources (or related field). Equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Demonstrated competence using computers and various software that support this role. Experience with ADP a strong plus.
- Excellent business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management.
- Ability to access and navigate each department of the organization’s facilities, including feed production, mechanic shop, and livestock barn.
