What You’ll Do
Assist the Dentist during all procedures—anticipate their needs and help ensure smooth, efficient treatments.
Prepare Treatment Areas – Sterilize and disinfect instruments, set up trays, and ensure everything is ready before appointments.
Support Patient Comfort – Prepare patients for procedures and provide post-treatment instructions to ensure a smooth recovery.
Maintain Accurate Records – Log patient information, transcribe doctor’s notes, and keep records up to date.
Take X-Rays – Capture diagnostic images to assist in treatment planning.
Manage Supplies – Keep track of inventory and restock dental materials as needed.
Ensure Safety & Compliance – Follow OSHA, HIPAA, and Bloodborne Pathogen guidelines to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
