The Patient Coordinator (PC) plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional patient experience and ensuring the seamless operation of the front office at Marquee Dental Partners . Under the guidance and support of the Operations Leader , the PC independently manages all front office functions, creating a welcoming and professional environment while contributing to the financial success of the practice.
This position is key in helping patients understand their treatment options and securing financial commitments, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Coordination : Assist patients in understanding their financial obligations and secure commitments to begin treatment.
- Front Office Management : Oversee scheduling, phone management, patient check-ins / check-outs, insurance claims, reporting, and general customer service.
- Insurance & Billing : Work closely with insurance providers to maximize patient benefits and ensure accurate processing of claims.
- Patient Advocacy : Guide patients through their treatment options, ensuring they feel informed and comfortable with their care decisions.
- Customer Service Excellence : Make a lasting, positive first impression—whether over the phone or in person—by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Team Collaboration : Build strong relationships with the Operations Leader, dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants to support a seamless patient experience.
- Compliance & Safety : Adhere to HIPAA and OSHA regulations to protect patient information and maintain a safe, professional environment.
