Training and Development
- Design, implement, and manage the corporate training platform to meet the company’s safety objectives.
- Create engaging, virtual safety training content that aligns with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Maintain a comprehensive training calendar, ensuring timely delivery of all required sessions.
- Expand on existing communication plans to ensure consistent and effective safety messaging across the organization.
- Develop and distribute safety-focused materials, including newsletters, alerts, and campaign content.
- Serve as a resource for leaders to help deliver clear and actionable safety messaging to teams.
- Oversee contractor vetting and onboarding processes using TradeTapp and GoContractor to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Evaluate opportunities to scale and improve contractor management processes in collaboration with procurement and preconstruction.
- Ensure all contractors are fully oriented to company safety protocols before starting work.
- Maintain and improve incident management dashboards, ensuring accurate data tracking and reporting.
- Develop and implement online tools to facilitate site-level risk analysis.
- Lead the implementation of the Safe Start Process for new projects.
- Collaborate with project teams to create comprehensive Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSPs).
- Conduct regular reviews of safety plans to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
- Develop and standardize Emergency Action Plans for all sites, tailoring them to specific risks and scenarios.
- Organize and lead emergency preparedness drills, partnering with site teams to ensure readiness.
- Maintain the company’s legal register to ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with operations and safety teams to conduct annual audits of policies and procedures.
- Manage the internal audit process by developing audit plans, organizing a team to conduct safety compliance and system audits, and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Identify and mitigate organizational risks through systematic tracking and reporting.
- Serve as a safety partner to office personnel, ensuring they have the resources, training, and support to work in a safe environment.
- Develop and implement a safety program specifically for office employees, addressing ergonomic risks, emergency procedures, and overall workplace safety.
- Work with HR and facilities teams to identify potential hazards and implement office-specific safety improvements.
- Provide training on emergency preparedness, workstation ergonomics, and best practices for injury prevention in an office setting.

- Thanksgiving Lunch
- Collaborate with leadership and site teams to maximize engagement and participation.
- Partner with safety and HRto design and implement a comprehensive Total Worker Health program focused on employee safety, health, and wellness.
- Develop resources and initiatives to support physical and mental well-being across the workforce.
Education/Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in safety program management, training, or related roles.
- Strong understanding of contractor management systems, safety audits, ISO 45001, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Familiarity with tools similar to Sapiens, Procore, TradeTapp, and GoContractor is highly desirable.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical abilities.
- Experience in managing and conducting internal safety audits.
- Ability to develop and implement safety programs for both field and office personnel.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across departments and levels of the organization.

- Proven experience in leading and growing teams in high-growth organizations.
- Demonstrable success leading Support and Services teams in a fast-paced mission critical environment.
- Directly supervises 5 or more employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk or working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 10 - 50 pounds at a time. May be required to walk around facility for site visits. Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
