CPH has an opening for the following position: Accounts Receivable Specialist
The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for managing receivables to ensure client payments are processed accurately and on time. This role includes monitoring account balances, handling billing processes, resolving payment discrepancies, and maintaining positive relationships with CPH clients to facilitate prompt collections. The Accounts Receivable Specialist supports the tracking of financial reports and financial operations.
Duties Include:
- Process invoicing, billing, and payment collections to ensure timely payments.
- Monitor aging receivables and implement strategies to reduce outstanding balances.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to customer inquiries.
- Enforce credit policies to manage customer risk.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure prompt collections.
- Reconcile customer accounts and prepare reports on receivables and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing issues.
- Support the accounts receivable month-end close process and audits.
- Continuously improve accounts receivable processes and ensure compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus
- Associate’s degree or High School Diploma is acceptable in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- Bilingual Spanish speaking candidates are a plus to communicate with clients and partners in Puerto Rico as well as have the ability to produce written material via Microsoft Office.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable.
- Knowledge of industry specific accounting practices.
- Experience with Deltek Vision and/or EleVia is a plus.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting softwares.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, proactive follow-up, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of urgency, with outstanding prioritization skills and professionalism
- Focuses on objectives and deliverables, execution of tasks, and fast implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
