Responsible for preparing, operating and maintaining a silk screen printing press to produce high-quality plastic secured card sheets and prepare them for final processing in the Finishing Department to ensure the production and timely delivery of high-quality plastic secured cards according to customer specifications and Company quality objective.
Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
- Folder/Affixer Operators are required to work in a highly secured area.
- Must be able to multi-task and have attention to detail.
- An aptitude for math, computers and communicating effectively.
- Folder/Affixers must verify a chain of custody that accounts for all secure materials that enter and exit the building.
- Efficiently communicate with their assistants, and Vault Custodians.
- Verifying card numbers
- Repair and adjust the machines as needed
- Typically required to physically handle loads of up to 40lb max.
- Employees are on their feet for the entire length of the shift.
- It is essential that Folder/Affixer Operators have good handwriting and vision, including the ability to properly distinguish color. They are responsible for recognizing defects as well as filing out audit forms that must be easily read by others.

- Pass a security clearance
- Good manual dexterity & Hand/Eye coordination
- Stron attention to detail
- Ability and willingness to lead small work groups of machine assistants
- Respond to changing conditions
- Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary
Meet physical requirements:
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
Preferred Skills:
- Computer experience
- High mechanical aptitude
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Printing or graphics experience
- Manufacturing experience with a strong technology base
