$1,000 sign on bonus payment for weekend nights Machine Operator.

• The $1,000 bonus payment will be paid on the payroll after the completion of 6 months of employment.

The Lamination Operator is responsible for running the lamination presses. This process takes the collated book and fuses it into a single sheet using heat and pressure.

Hourly rate -      $20.75

shift diff -            $4.15

Hourly rate        $24.90

Schedule: Friday-Sunday 4:00pm-4:30am

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Reads and interprets the shop floor router and workmanship manual as well as applicable specifications
• Loads sheets properly into lamination books, checking for mag tape registration and removing nonconforming material for rework or destruction.
• Cleans plates as necessary to avoid sheet contamination or as a routine maintenance procedure.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions (written and verbal) in English.  Have the ability to write simple report.  Have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Have the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
• Must be security and safety oriented
• Must be reliable through good attendance, punctuality, and cooperation
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time without sitting. 
• Elementary English proficiency communication skills necessary

Physical Requirements:

• Work is conducted in a standing position and requires walking, bending, stooping, twisting and lifting of materials up to 50 lbs. on a repetitive basis
• Environment is noisy and may require ear protection
• Work involves good eyesight, hand/eye coordination and normal color vision to be able to ensure quality product and maintain safety
• Work involves full use of hands/fingers in order to use precision or semi-precision equipment, tools or instruments requiring deft hand movements
• Work involves dealing with fine detail, which can be tiring both mentally and physically
• Works with rapidly moving machinery that may require quick adjustments to minimize waste and time
• Work is conducted in shifts and may require overtime on other shifts to meet deadlines
