YOUR DAY TO DAY:
Specific responsibilities include the electrical design, analysis, and documentation of vacuum electron devices from concept to production. Candidate will also be responsible for yield improvement, corrective actions, and other activities supporting manufacturing. Requires good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with all other internal functional groups as well as suppliers and customers.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Electrical design, analysis, and documentation of vacuum electron devices.
- Yield improvement, corrective actions, and other activities supporting manufacturing.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- BS in Physics
- Strong background in experimental physics
- Interest in electromagnetism, microwave theory, materials and vacuum science
- Experience with 3D CAD tools desirable
- Experience with finite element analysis desirable
- Good verbal and written communications skills
- S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
