MACHINE AND EQUIPMENT USED:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift 40-45 lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
- Sets-up, maintains set-up, and fully operates within tolerances and specifications as directed by supervisor or written documentation.
- Adapts standard tooling, mounts tools, sets feeds and speeds, determines number of cuts required to obtain finish, and makes all necessary adjustments.
- Works with all required materials.
- Checks and measures all work using all necessary quality tools.
- Works from engineering drawings, rough sketches, written specifications and oral instructions.
- Perform heat treating, finishing, grinding, honing, brazing, and mechanical assembly operations as required.
- Performs other duties as needed and assigned.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Must have demonstrated job planning abilities and knowledge of mathematics, including geometry and trigonometry.
- Must be fluent in the set up and use of standard lathe and milling machine tools. This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. Person" as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
