Job duties and responsibilities explained:
- Green End - Grading the core peeled plywood for the dryers, maintaining a constant running of the lathe.
- Dryers - loading, or grading the core peeled plywood so it is properly sorted for use on our finished products.
- Pluggers - Fixing and patching our core to better the core grade for our plywood.
- Composers - Taking the smaller pieces of core and splicing them together to make a solid core for our plywood.
- Press - Plywood manufacturing that offers a higher pay.
- Veneer Grading - Grading the actual hardwood veneer that goes as a finish on our plywood.
- Sander/Putty Line - The final touches to finish our plywood before it is shipped direct to the customer.
