ARCHITECT I / II
The individual in this role applies advanced concepts and designs to a variety of projects across varying market sectors, managing and guiding the well-being and productive functioning of CPL’s architectural design teams.
The Architect I is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and recommending technical design solutions that meet and exceed client needs for any assigned project. Reporting to a Project Manager or Principal, you provide consultation throughout the planning, design and coordination of complex assignments and carry out novel assignments requiring the development of new / improved techniques and procedures. In this position, you are moderately independent and work on complex small to moderate size projects.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- You earned a professional degree in Architecture and have at least four (4) years of related work experience - or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional licensure
- LEED and WELL accreditation are a plus, but not required
- Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, InDesign, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp and other 3D visualization tools
- Comprehension of governing codes, standards, and project planning processes
- Ability to collaborate and both independently and as part of a project team, often on multiple projects concurrently
- Strong interpersonal skills, which you utilize over the phone, in person and via email correspondence with clients, consultants and internal teams
- Foundational knowledge of construction methods / materials and sustainable design strategies

The rate for this position generally ranges between $73K-91K annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.

Salary : $73,000 - $91,000
