We are seeking a highly skilled Resource Manager to oversee and optimize the utilization of Mosaic, our resource management software application. This role will be responsible for implementing best practices in resource planning, improving capacity management, and ensuring that the right resources are allocated to the right projects at the right time. Working closely with department heads, and business leaders, the Resource Manager will play a crucial role in aligning workforce capacity with organizational priorities, promoting continuous improvement in utilizing Mosaic within the company.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Mosaic user or trainer, or in a similar role in business applications support.
- Strong understanding of business workflows.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Project management and process optimization experience preferred.
- Able to engage effectively with all levels of staff.
CORE DUTIES
- Resource Planning & Allocation: Leverage Mosaic to assess resource capacity, skill sets, and availability to allocate team members effectively across projects and initiatives.
- Workload Management: Ensure an even distribution of work on Mosaic to prevent resource bottlenecks and burnout, while maintaining optimal productivity.
- Scenario Planning: Conduct "what-if" analyses on Mosaic to model different workforce scenarios and proactively address resource constraints.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Utilize Mosaic to provide visibility into resource utilization, project demand, and workforce trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Skills Development: Identify & manage skills, assess gaps and workforce development opportunities to improve team competencies and readiness for future projects.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner with leadership, HR, and finance teams to ensure strategic alignment of resources with business priorities.
- Monitor usage: Provide insights and recommendations to maximize use of the platform for business processes.
- Serve as the primary contact for all Mosaic-related inquiries and support within the organization.
- Train and assist staff on Mosaic best practices to ensure widespread adoption and skill across departments.
- Support Mosaic updates and ensure smooth transitions.
- Develop and maintain documentation on Mosaic processes, training materials, and best practices.
- Work with Mosaic to resolve any issues to minimize business disruptions.

The rate for this position generally ranges between $97K - $106K annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
