ENGINEERING DESIGNER I/II
We are seeking motivated professionals with a degree in Civil Engineering with an interest in Water and Wastewater, Transportation, Site Design, or Environmental projects to join our team. Those in this role support and assist experienced engineers and other multidisciplined team members throughout the planning and design phases for regional industrial and commercial projects.
As a member of the civil engineering team, the Engineering Designer I/II supports and assists experienced engineers and other multidisciplined team members throughout the planning and design of community, industrial, and commercial developments. Reporting to a licensed Engineer or Project Manager, your daily tasks involve conducting on-site inspections, rendering 2D and 3D models and researching agency codes and standards. The Engineering Designer I/II works under close supervision on small, or segments of larger, moderately complex projects.

What You Bring To The Table
- You earned an AS or BS in Civil Engineering or a related field– or have an equivalent combination of education and experience
- You have 0-4 years of civil engineering experience (including internships)
- An EIT or NICET certification is a plus
- You can perform basic to moderately difficult technical computations and consolidate acquired data
- You have a working knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil3D, Revit and/or Open Roads, and you’re proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office
- You can comprehend and carry out oral or written instructions
- An understanding of construction plans/specifications and their application to public works projects is a major plus
- You apply standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader assignment
- Collects data and gathers information or documents
- Use AutoCAD for preparing engineering plans, drawings and models, and more
- Research, evaluate and execute appropriate engineering techniques and code provisions for a wide range of projects with unique needs

Salary : $58,000 - $95,000
