Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee our construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the construction site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of construction processes and project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily operations on the construction site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Manage project scheduling using tools such as Procore and Microsoft Excel.
- Conduct regular inspections of the job site to monitor progress and enforce safety regulations in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to facilitate smooth operations and resolve any issues that arise.
- Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders regarding timelines, changes, and progress updates.
- Ensure all work is performed according to industry standards and best practices while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role in the construction industry. 3 years of similar work preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project scheduling, and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with project management software such as ProCore, Primavera, or Prolog is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of construction management.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
