JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, the Global Product Director - Conveyors is a top-line growth focused individual leading all commercial aspects for a global product line. This position clearly supports and connects a broader business vision and strategy into product strategy and deployment. Key accountabilities include delivering/exceeding targeted results for bookings and margins throughout the core business segments in a process honoring and team first environment. This role will collaboratively work across our commercial organization, connect to key Operations team members, support and deploy initiatives, align decisions with customer segmentation and business expectations, and ensure a global view is considered. Customer interactions, including connecting to senior level management, focusing on uncovering unmet needs, identifying & positioning CPM | Crown to win new business, and developing deep customer relationships along with:
1. Supporting all aspects of Product Management of conveyors including business plan development and implementation, product line growth, pipeline development, sales & marketing, broader sales team training on conveyors, and partner relationship management.
2. Mentoring & Support of Global Sales team and marketing management of Engineered Solutions marketing efforts across all product lines and segments.
3. Primary subject matter market (customers & competitors) expert for conveyors globally.
4. Support – Depending on need & situation, this role needs to partner with all Crown sales team members to evaluate opportunities versus technical/capability feasibility. Partner with Field Service, Engineering, and Supply Chain as needed to enable execution and delivery of projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Foster a “One CPM” and “One Crown” culture across business units, segments and geographies.
• Build and champion a compelling global product strategy & marketing plan for conveyors, aligning with other segment leads, and driving to a customer focused culture.
• Manage growth of product line (Opportunity Pipeline, Revenue & EBITDA) through execution of the business plan targeting a 3-5 year time horizon.
• Drive conveyors marketing efforts by becoming a member of the business unit marketing team with a vision to transition to leading the entire business unit marketing program, partnering with our external creative agencies and CPM corporate marketing.
• Collaboration across the CPM enterprise executing against business plan.
• Train broader sales team in conveyor sales strategy and value proposition
• Review processes to improve efficiency and implement when needed.
• Work integrally with internal and external customers to provide the most efficient design to meet the project requirements.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years related experience
• Proficient in the following skills:
• Selling equipment
• Business and product line management
• Marketing and segmentation
• Cross functional communication
• Demonstrated experience in collaborating with cross-functional team, creating values for end customers, and driving operational excellence within areas of responsibility.
• Strong Microsoft office skills.
• Self manages; takes initiative and able to collaborate across geographies and functions in a matrixed environment
• Outcome focused with the ability to manage competing priorities and work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Well-developed sales and presentation skills.

• Able to read, analyze, and interpret contracts.
• Ability to travel on need basis – domestically or internationally and up to 50% of the time.
