Job Summary : We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Construction Management with extensive public agency experience across various sectors, including transportation, water infrastructure, education, airports, and ports. The Senior Scheduler will be responsible for creating, analyzing, and managing project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Schedule Development and Management :

  • Develop, maintain, and manage comprehensive project schedules using industry-standard scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
  • Integrate contractor and subcontractor schedules into a master project schedule.
  • Ensure schedules are logically sequenced and align with project milestones and objectives.

Progress Monitoring and Reporting :

  • Track and report on project progress, identifying variances from the baseline schedule.
  • Prepare and present periodic schedule updates, look-ahead reports, and forecasts to project stakeholders.
  • Provide detailed analysis and recommendations to mitigate schedule risks and delays.
  • Risk Management and Analysis :

  • Conduct schedule risk assessments to identify potential issues and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with project managers and teams to address and resolve scheduling conflicts and constraints.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration :

  • Work closely with public agencies, contractors, subcontractors, and design teams to ensure alignment on schedule goals.
  • Facilitate schedule review meetings and provide expertise in resolving schedule-related disputes.
  • Compliance and Documentation :

  • Ensure all schedules comply with project requirements, public agency standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed scheduling records and documentation for claims analysis and project audits.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of scheduling experience in Construction Management, with significant experience in public agency projects.
  • Expertise in scheduling across multiple sectors, including transportation, water infrastructure, education, airports, and ports.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, and other scheduling tools.
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM) scheduling, and delay analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with public agency standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Certification as a Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP) or equivalent is a plus.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience with multi-phase projects and managing complex project controls.
  • Knowledge of risk management techniques and forensic schedule analysis.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
