This role requires a thorough understanding of contract law, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to work well with the legal department and other internal stakeholders in the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute a wide variety of supplier-facing and customer-facing contracts; such as NDA’s, Material Transfer Agreements, Purchase Agreements, or Services Agreements, covering a wide range of transactions.
- Create and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and serve as a singular point of contact for all contract-related matters.
- Maintain records and systems for correspondence and documentation in relation to established contracts and those in progress.
- Communicate and present information to internal stakeholders about all contract-related matters.
- Monitor existing contracts and move forward with close-out, extension, or renewal efforts, as necessary.
- Ensure that contracts are executed in accordance with corporate and legal requirements.
- Improve, develop, and implement effective contract management strategies, processes, and systems.
- Assist with providing training and guidance to team members and other departments on contract management and policies.
- Juris Doctor from an accredited Law School.
- An active Minnesota Law License or the ability to become licensed in Minnesota.
- Strong understanding of contract law and legal requirements.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Minimum of 6 months experience in corporate law, contract law, or other related field (internships and clerkships included).

Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
