The Fabrication Category Lead will play an instrumental role in driving operational excellence for the various fabricator and associated categories across the globe for Engineered Solutions. The successful candidate will be a seasoned Procurement/Supply Chain professional in:

The Fabrication Category Lead will play an instrumental role in driving operational excellence for the various fabricator and associated categories across the globe for Engineered Solutions. The successful candidate will be a seasoned Procurement/Supply Chain professional in:
- Meeting deadlines for fabricated equipment delivery
- driving Strategic Procurement and Supply Chain Management activities for fabricated equipment
- negotiating contracts and pricing based on Total Value of Ownership (TVO), and
- working with Engineering and Fabrication Category Manager to facilitate budgeting and Purchase Order issuance
- working with Logistics in equipment pickup, shipping, and warehousing
- Lead and manage end to end Supply Chain for the Fabricated Equipment Segment
- Develop and drive best practices and targets related to purchasing, inventory, warehouse, logistic, and transportation management
- Proactively identify and manage risks and mitigation plan in collaboration with a cross- functional team to avoid supply chain disruption
- Ensures compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety requirements
- Manage cost management for the sales proposal (Quote and COGS database management)
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent experience, with a preference given to technical engineering experience
- Ability to read and interpret equipment design drawings
- Individuals must possess a can-do attitude, open, flexible, thinking outside of the box, go- getter, technical aptitude, and believes in creating value for customers
- Six or more years of purchasing, supply chain, and leadership experience
- Demonstrable experience in collaborating with a cross-functional team globally, creating values for end customers, and driving operational excellence
- Must be able to drive change management
- Proven experience of contract: terms and conditions review, negotiation, and execution
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- High integrity and ethics
- Multilingual and ability to support global cultural differences
- Ability to use ERP/MRP systems, specifically SAP, is highly preferred
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
