JOB SUMMARY

As the Maintenance Planner and MRO Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in setting up, organizing, and managing our maintenance parts crib. This position is vital in ensuring the crib is fully operational, stocked with necessary maintenance, repair, and operational supplies (MRO supplies). You will collaborate closely with procurement and maintenance teams to establish effective inventory control, distribution processes, and maintain accurate records.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Oversee the daily operation of the maintenance parts crib, issuing tools, parts, and supplies to maintenance staff.

Assist in the layout and setup of the MRO crib.

Organize, label, and categorize storage areas and inventory by part number.

Develop a streamlined process for receiving, storing, and distributing MRO items.

Accurately document all inventory transactions.

Create reports on inventory usage and stock levels for management review.

Assist in efficiently closing work orders, estimating labor hours, tools, and resources required.

Order, receive, and supervise materials needed for maintenance activities.

Prepare technical documentation including specifications and operation manuals.

Work closely with vendors for timely delivery of materials.

Facilitate communication between maintenance and operations teams to ensure quality service.

Prepare Preventative Maintenance (PM) plans aligned with CMMS schedules.

Coordinate planned downtimes to minimize production disruptions.

Manage contractors for professional repairs when necessary.

Develop Standardized Maintenance Plans for efficiency.

Be flexible with working hours as needed.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.

Adhere to all safety and quality standards and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education : Highschool Diploma or GED.

Other Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities :

Previous experience in inventory management or MRO operations.

Familiarity with CMMS systems or similar software.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

1 year of inventory management experience.

1 year of experience with ERP systems.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

Environment : Shop floor.

Required PPE : Check for required PPE in various work areas.

Safety Glasses required in all areas of the plant.

Steel toe shoes required in all areas of the plant.
